Lynn Haven Kids

We Love Kids! And your kids will love church!

On Sunday mornings, children ages newborn through 5th grade will learn about Jesus in a safe place where faith and fun collide. Relationships with Jesus and with our small groups are the key to building trust and friendships!

On Wednesday evenings during the school year, children ages PreK-3 through 5th grade are invited to take part in AWANA Club. AWANA – which stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). This ministry is committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love and serve Him. AWANA includes high energy games, fun theme nights, large group bible lessons, small group handbook & prayer, and lots of opportunities to Love God and Love others through mission projects.

Led by Family Minister Mary McQuagge, our programs aim to teach important life applications from the Bible in ways kids learn best — through play, discussion, and interaction!

Our mission is to Lead children to Love God and Love Others and to equip families to do the same.

Fall Family Fun Night

Oct 30th 6pm to 7:30pm

Come join us for our Fall Family Fun Night! We will have a Trunk or Treat for the children, special activities for youth members, a fun photo booth and complimentary dinner. This event is for children, youth and their families. Our goal is to give everyone a free, safe and fun experience. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for this event. Please make sure you register below for ALL family members that plan to attend, so we can plan accordingly!

Our next Fellowship meal will be on Oct 30th where the Methodist Men will be cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs for everyone. This meal will be free of charge for all who wish to attend. Please register all who plan to attend & join us for a night filled with food, fun and fellowship! Please make sure you register ALL family members that plan to attend our Trunk or Treat activities and dinner.

Service (& fun) day

On Mon Oct 14th (kids are out of school for Columbus Day) we invite you to sign up your 2nd – 5th grader to bring joy & TREATS to the residents at Mathison retirement home. We will also get lunch together and have some fun!

Cost: $25 per child

Drop off: 9 am

Pick up: 3 pm (sharp!) @ the church.　

This event is for 2nd – 5th Graders only!

2024-2025 Awana

Interested in being an AWANA leader?

Our AWANA Club ministry is looking for dedicated servants to get involved for the coming year. If you have a personal relationship with Jesus and a love for children, we need you! AWANA Club will start back on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Meetings will be most Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 pm in the Next Gen room at LHM. Training and resources are provided to all AWANA leaders. If you are interested in serving, please email Family Minister, Mary McQuagge at mmcquagge@lhm.online.

AWANA resumes Wed 9.4.24

AWANA is a weekly club that we have during the school year. AWANA stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed,” from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Each week our AWANA clubbers play games, participate in mission projects, learn lessons from the Bible and work in small groups to discuss their AWANA handbook work. The kids earn awards and have fun participating in theme nights and activities!

The 2023-24 AWANA Club at Lynn Haven Methodist meets most Wednesdays until early May 2024.

Kid’s Church

At Lynn Haven Methodist, we love children and we’re not just saying that! It is our desire for each child to know how much they are loved and cherished by God, their Creator. We offer fun, positive and uplifting programs that are kid-centered and interactive. We look forward to sharing the love of Jesus with your children and your entire family!

V.I.P. Section

Here at Lynn Haven Methodist we want our parents (and any other interested adults to know that they are V.I.P.’s! This means that we consider you our Very Important Partners in teaching our children and youth about the love of Jesus and how to navigate some of life’s challenges in godly ways. From time to time we will share valuable information and resources covered at our Events on our website for those who missed the in person meeting or may wish to refer back to the information. Parents Morning Out

Parents Morning Out is a program that provides a fun, safe place for children ages infant to Pre-K to learn early education fundamentals and enjoy daily story time, music and movement and a healthy snack.

The ’24- ’25 program runs Monday – Thursday from 9am – 12pm starting Monday Aug 12, 2024 & concludes Thursday May 22, 2025.
