An Interrupted Journey
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are our Deliverer. You are the God who sees us, hears us, cares about us, and comes near to us. When we are in the wilderness, remind us that You have not forgotten us. Give us eyes to see when You interrupt our ordinary lives. Give us ears to hear when You call our names. And give us courage to answer: “Here I am.” Forgive us for the times we have choked at the point of obedience. Forgive us when we have looked at ourselves and said, “Who am I?” instead of looking at You and remembering that the great “I AM” is with us. Fill us with Your Spirit. Let Your fire burn within us—not consuming us but transforming us. And when You say,
“Go,” let our answer be: “Here I am.” For our good. For the good of others. And for Your glory. Amen.
