Countdown to Easter
He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!
Easter is a time when Christians glorify and give thanks for the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. After His crucifixion, death, and burial, Christ rose from the grave three days later. By this, He conquered death and redeemed us from sin. Praise be to God!
While this challenge is offically being shared in our Kids ministry, anyone can accept it and read along with us! We hope you will accept the challenge by commiting to read the designated daily verses. If you would like to share your thoughts, insights or any prayer needs you have along the way, you can do so by emailing us at church@lhm.online. We would love to hear from you!
You can download the 25 day reading plan by clicking the button in this section.

Then at 6pm, in the Worship Center, we will gather for a special Holy Week service where Pastor Rudy will guide us through a traditional Maundy Thursday service. The word maundy is derived from the Latin mandatum which translates as “command”. Maundy refers to the commandment given by Jesus to his disciples to love one another (John 13:34) after washing their feet at the Last Supper.
Good Friday Prayer Vigil - 4/3
Join us in prayer!
Team Up!
As Easter draws near, it is our desire to remain in steady prayer as we remember Jesus’ great love and sacrifice for each one of us.
You too can participate in this important ministry!
Join us in the Worship Center on Good Friday any time starting at 7 am until 7 pm.
We encourage you to pray at home as well (if you can not make it to the church for in-person prayer).

Good Friday Service of Darkness - 4/3
This service that presents the suffering & death of Jesus will begin at 7 pm in the Worship Center. It will feature Scripture readings from Matthew’s gospel and each lesson will be followed by a prayer, a song, and the extinguishing of a candle. As the story unfolds, the lights will be gradually dimmed to dramatize Christ’s suffering. After a final Scripture is read, the Christ candle will be removed and taken out of the worship center to symbolize the death and burial of the Light of the world. Worshipers leave in reverent silence to ponder the impact of Christ’s death and await the celebration of His Resurrection on Easter.
Nursery care will be available for ages infant through pre-k.
Easter Sunday 4/5
7am Service @ Kinsaul Park
Lynn Haven Methodist’s Worship on Easter Sunday begins at an hour and place different than we normally experience. The stone has been rolled away. The tomb is empty. Where there appeared to be no hope, there is now hope. Where there was death, there is now resurrection!
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who lived in a land of deep darkness—on them light has shined” (Isaiah 9:2 NRSV).
The world around us can often seem dark and empty, but in Christ we have a light of hope, the very presence of God among us. Praise God!
Join us at Kinsaul Park in Lynn Haven at 7 am for a special time of worship on Easter Sunday.
1146 W. 5th Street, Lynn Haven, FL 32444
