The Word of Reunion

By this time it was about noon, and darkness fell across the whole land until three o’clock. The light from the sun was gone. Comparisons between our earthly reunions and the reunions we can have with God one day.

1. Earthly reunion – The head of the family makes the plan

Reunion with God – God made the plan!

2. Earthly reunion – An invitation is sent out to all the family

Reunion with God – God invites everyone to believe

3. Earthly reunion– Everyone shows up.

Reunion with God– Everyone shows up that wants to be there.

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation.
