Barriers that Prevent Us from Being Filled with the Holy Spirit

1) Ignorance

“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” he asked them. “No,” they replied, “we haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”

2) Unavailability

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

3) Pride

“I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper to be with you forever – the Spirit…

4) Fear

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.
