Lynn Haven Methodist’s Back-to-School Parade for Southport Elementary will take place on Sunday, Aug. 2 as a drive-thru event for students and families.

During the parade, Southport teachers and the Eagle mascot will join with us to cheer and celebrate with Southport’s students and faculty. Each student will receive a bag of school supplies and other items to start the school year.

Servants are need on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 10 to 11:30 am to organize supplies and on event day from 1:30 to 4 pm to distribute supplies. Click here to sign up to serve! 

Lynn Haven Methodist is proud to partner with Southport Elementary in a variety of ways. In addition to a Back-to-School event, our members serve at special events, provide Lunch Buddies and tutors, and distribute weekend food bags to children in need (approximately 65 students weekly).
