Wheelchair Ramp Ministry
About Hardly Able
In 1997, God planted a vision in a Lynn Haven Methodist member’s heart and mind to build ramps for elderly and disabled residents. The Hardly Able ministry Tom Gildersleeve started more than two decades ago is still going strong.
More than 3,000 ramps and 2,000+ other projects have been completed as of September 2021!
Hardly Able Needs You! If you like working with tools or would enjoy learning, the Hardly Able ministry is about to resume building ramps and would love to have you help out with its upcoming projects. The Hardly Able team builds ramps in the name of Jesus for home-bound residents and seniors. If interested in serving, please email Harvey Lovelace at lovelaceharvey123@gmail.com. The Hardly Able crew has indicated they will be ready to begin projects sometime in February 2025. More details on the exact start date will be available soon. Older children (with a parent or guardian) and students can help, too!
If you are aware of anyone in need of a ramp, please have them call the church office ay 850.265.5231 to be added to the list.
