Extreme Thanskgiving

Preacher:
Service Type:

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 NLT

Extreme Joy – Where do you find it?

Extreme Prayer – How do you do it?

Extreme Thanksgiving – Why should we do it?

Why should we be Extremely Thankful?

1) We aren’t __ALONE__ on the journey.

We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers. We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:2-3 NIV

2) God _ANSWERS_ our prayers.

…you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

2 Corinthians 1:11 NIV

3) It’s God’s _WILL_ for our lives.

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 NLT

4) We are _SAVED_.

Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

1 Thessalonians 5:19-24 NIV
